The mission of Citizens Against Factory Farming (CAFF) is to stop production of intense factory farming operations, by providing education and humane alternatives to consumers with animal welfare in mind. As factory farming poses a detriment to animal welfare, the environment, health, and economy, the ultimate vision of CAFF is to move toward a society that no longer tolerates the inhumane treatment of animals and destruction of the environment. Compassion Barn integrates the rescue and care of abused and neglected farm animals with humane education for "at-risk" youth. In addition, we offer free humane education presentations which conclude with vegan fare. We are based at Caring Fields, a 23-acre sanctuary in Palm City, FL, which is owned and managed by the Pegasus Foundation.
